Protection of Kaa Iya National Park

Rodrigo has documented nature, traditions and threats inside the Kaa Iya National Park in Southeast Bolivia. This fragile and endangered ecosystem is one of the biggest biodiversity hotspots in Bolivia. Uniquely, the park was established and is managed by the indigenous groups that live in the area.

The park is the biggest protected area of the country and is the last possibility for conservation of the great South American Chaco region.
